In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Tunisia showcased varying performance trends. Here, we explore the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a notable increase in downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at 2.1K in early January, the app peaked at 6.5K in mid-March before stabilizing around 4.7K. Active users also showed a steady rise, moving from 83.4K at the end of December to a high of 106.6K in mid-February, then slightly declining to 96.1K by the end of March.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a fluctuating download trend. The app began with 7K downloads in late December but dipped to 2.7K by the end of January. However, it recovered to 6.8K by mid-March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 74.8K, dipping to 52.9K by mid-January, and then rising to 69.7K in mid-March before ending the quarter at 57.1K.

Yassir - Ride, Eat & Shop experienced a significant drop in downloads over the quarter. From a high of 12.7K at the end of December, downloads plummeted to just 45 by the end of March. Active users also declined from 32.9K in late December to around 16.1K by the end of March.
